Minimum Qualifications:

  •  High school graduate with diploma and preferable real estate and appraisal training and experience.
  • Ability to work on self-directed basis and ability to supervise all appraisal work; computer skills.

This position supervises appraisals, performs numerical analysis, reviews state tax commission ratio study, communicates with members of the public, conducts all needed work operations accruing to the office of the Assessor including, but not limited to, field surveys of residential, agricultural and/or commercial properties.

The appraiser must be adept at collecting information, determining fair market values, measuring, diagramming and photographing of real property, and skillfully maintaining appropriate documentation related to property valuation or assessment. The appraiser must be competent in utilizing electronic methods of appraisals and recording property values for purposes of tax assessment.

Must be able to draw to scale, carefully measure sites, and evaluate depreciation.

Qualifications:
  • HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE OR THE EQUIVALENT
  • ABILITY TO WORK EFFECTIVELY IN A COUNTY OFFICE HANDLING TYPICAL
    OFFICE/SECRETARIAL/CLERICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF COMPUTERS AND APPLICABLE SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS
  • SECOND LANGUAGE IS A PLUS

WE ARE SEEKING A DUNKLIN COUNTY PERSONAL PROPERTY CLERK TO SUPPORT OUR TEAM. IN
THIS ROLE YOU WILL PERFORM A VARIETY OF ADMINISTRATIVE TASK, INCLUDING CLERICAL,
OPERATING COMPUTERS, PRINTERS, FACSIMILE MACHINE, CALCULATOR, AND OTHER
STANDARD OFFICE EQUIPMENT

    PLEASANT AND POLITE MANNER

  • FLEXIBLE AND CAPABLE OF FITTING IN TO OTHER PERSONNEL POSITIONS WHENEVER
    ASSIGNED
